Cleaning the floor thoroughly and masking the walls to prepare for the acid staining of the floor.

For reasons I won't go into the floor drain in the brewing space was initially covered by the slab, so it had to be chiseled out and filled in with concrete after the fact.

A fantastic birthday gift from my wife. These will look great once the kegerator goes in!

As part of the house remodel project we wound up doing more work ourselves than we may have wanted, partially to save a few (OK, many) bucks when we could, but mostly to keep things moving since finding people is difficult when all the tradespeople are so incredibly busy.
